Thank You for Booking Your Caravan or Motorhome Service With AP Mobile Services
We really appreciate you choosing us to service your caravan, and we look forward to seeing you soon. To help everything run smoothly, please take a few minutes to get things ready before we arrive. If you’re unsure about anything or need a hand, we're happy to assist wherever possible.
What to do before your service:
Clear all around the van: This will ensure we have the space to access all the lockers, remove the wheels to check and service the brakes, and inspect external fittings.
Level the caravan: A level van ensures accurate checks and safe working conditions, especially for appliances, water systems and the service of the braking system.
Fill the water butt: We'll be carrying out a check and making any needed adjustments to your water system, to be able to do this, we'll need access to water.
Electric hook-up connected: Power is essential for us to check your vans' 240v electrical appliances, sockets, and onboard systems.
Gas bottle hooked up: We'll need gas connected to test appliances such as the hob, oven, heater, and fridge.
Easy access to appliances: Please clear any items blocking fridges, cookers, heaters, etc., so we can inspect and test them properly.
Access to the fuse box: We'll need to check the electrical setup, so please make sure the fuse box is reachable and not obstructed.
Cupboards emptied: We appreciate that you may store quite a lot in your caravan (we have van's to and know what it's like!). If you could please have the cupboards as empty as possible. We will need to get to the back of all the cupboards and under the beds to carry out a full damp and water ingress check, especially in hidden or hard-to-reach areas. We appreciate that this isn’t always possible, so if not, don’t worry too much; we'll get to as many areas as possible.
Keys available: Please have keys ready for doors, lockers, and any secured areas — this saves time and avoids delays.
Parking: It takes quite a lot of equipment to service your caravan or motorhome, so the closer we can get our van, the easier and smoother everything will be. This would be greatly appreciated.
Payment Options: Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer, or credit card. Please note: an additional fee may apply to card payments, this is simply because I get charged a fee to take them.
“I completely understand that some of these steps might be tricky or not possible for everyone. If you’re unable to do any of the above, please let me know in advance — I’ll be more than happy to help and will do everything I can to make things easier for you.”
